You can do it too!

Since we're here in cyberspace, I thought I would encourage you all to sign up for your own blog. I have one for the past year if anyone wants to check it out: www.grosselfinger.blogspot.com
It is a lot easier to set up than you may realize. I actually wrote a small grad paper/reflection on the process if anyone wants to read it for guidance. Plus I can always help out if Renee gets too blogged down ;-) It is free to set up!
The benefit of starting on it now, is that when the school year starts you can immediately use it with your students and parents. Sometimes kids can get assignments on the blog, or you can restate work that was done in class. It becomes a great tool for everyone. I have had kids keep up with missed work from being sick, just based on the blog. Also, they can make comments on the blog and have online accountable talk! My blog started early in the school year, so feel free to go to the archives to check things out. Also, I have linked additional blogs that I made such as: test prep or student work.
